Individual & Family Counseling

Individual and family counseling services are offered to individuals who have incurred the onset of a disability. The focus is primarily on adjustment to disability, but in addition the counseling relationship may deal with any outcome of the exposure to disability over time.

There is much more to this process than can be discussed in this short space but engaging the individual as an equal partner in this process and working with the family in changing their dynamic in interacting with their loved one is critical to success in this process.
